Return Eligibility and Conditions

Returns are accepted only under specific circumstances and subject to the following conditions. Construction equipment can be returned if the product received is damaged during transit, defective due to manufacturing faults, or materially different from what was ordered in terms of specifications or model. To be eligible for a return, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by contacting our customer support team via phone or email with relevant details including order number, product details, and photographs or videos clearly showing the defect or damage. The equipment must be unused, in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and components intact. Products that show signs of use, installation attempts, missing parts, or damaged packaging due to customer handling will not be eligible for return. Customized or specially ordered equipment made to customer specifications cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect or error from our side. Consumable parts, spare parts, accessories purchased separately, and products on clearance or special discount sales are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective. We reserve the right to inspect returned products before approving any return request, and our decision on return eligibility shall be final.

Return Process and Procedure

To initiate a return, customers must contact our customer support team within the specified timeframe of 48 hours from delivery. Provide your order number, contact details, reason for return, and supporting evidence such as photographs or videos showing the damage or defect. Our team will review your request and provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number if the return is approved. No returns will be accepted without a valid RMA number. Once you receive the RMA number, carefully repack the equipment in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation. Do not write or place stickers directly on the original product packaging. Arrange for the equipment to be sent back to our warehouse address as provided by our team. Return shipping costs will be borne by Durga Construction Machinery if the return is due to our error, defective product, or transit damage. However, if the return is due to customer preference, wrong ordering, or other non-defect reasons (where applicable), the customer will be responsible for return shipping charges. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and obtaining proof of shipment for your records. Once we receive the returned equipment at our facility, our quality control team will inspect it within 5-7 business days. If the return is approved after inspection, we will process your refund, replacement, or exchange as per your preference and the circumstances of the return.

Refund Policy and Processing

Refunds will be processed only after the returned equipment has been received and inspected by our quality team. If your return is approved, refunds will be initiated within 7-10 business days from the date of inspection approval. The refund amount will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase, whether it was bank transfer, online payment, cheque, or any other authorized payment channel. Please note that depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the refund amount to reflect in your account. Durga Construction Machinery is not responsible for delays in refund crediting caused by banking processes or payment gateway procedures. Refund amounts will include the product price paid by the customer. However, shipping charges, installation charges if any, handling fees, and payment gateway charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. In cases where an advance payment was made and the order is cancelled before dispatch, refunds will be processed after deducting cancellation charges as specified in our Terms and Conditions, typically ranging from 10-20% of the order value depending on the stage of order processing. If any promotional discounts, cashback, or offers were applied to your purchase, the refund will be calculated based on the actual amount paid after all discounts. For orders paid partially in advance, refunds will be proportionate to the amount paid at the time of cancellation or return.

Exchange and Replacement Policy

In cases where the product received is defective or damaged during transit, customers have the option to request a replacement instead of a refund. Exchanges are subject to product availability and must be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Our team will arrange for the pickup of the defective or damaged equipment and deliver a replacement unit at no additional cost to the customer if the issue is verified and approved. The replacement product will be of the same model and specifications as originally ordered. If the exact model is not available, we will offer an equivalent or upgraded model subject to mutual agreement, or process a full refund as per customer preference. Exchanges due to customer preference such as wanting a different model or specifications may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability and payment of any price difference along with handling charges. Replacement products will carry a fresh warranty period from the date of replacement delivery. If a product develops issues during the warranty period, customers should first contact us for warranty service rather than requesting a return, as warranty claims are handled under separate terms as outlined in our Warranty Policy.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products and situations are not eligible for returns or refunds under any circumstances. These include equipment that has been used, installed, or put into operation even for testing purposes beyond initial inspection. Products that have been modified, altered, repaired, or serviced by unauthorized third parties cannot be returned. Equipment damaged due to customer negligence, improper handling, accidents, misuse, or failure to follow operating instructions is not eligible for return. Consumable parts, lubricants, spare parts, and accessories that have been opened or used are non-returnable. Electrical or electronic components that show signs of electrical damage, burnt circuits, or water damage due to improper storage or use cannot be returned. Products purchased during clearance sales, liquidation offers, or marked as final sale are not eligible for return or exchange. Customized equipment manufactured or modified according to specific customer requirements cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect attributable to our production process. Equipment that is returned without prior authorization, without a valid RMA number, or outside the specified return timeframe will be rejected and sent back to the customer at their expense.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive equipment that is damaged during transit or has manufacturing defects, please follow these steps immediately. Do not accept delivery if the packaging appears severely damaged or tampered with. If you notice damage after accepting delivery, document it with clear photographs or videos showing the packaging and the damaged product from multiple angles. Contact our customer support team within 48 hours of delivery with all relevant details and visual evidence. Our team will guide you through the return or replacement process. We will arrange for inspection, repair, or replacement as appropriate based on the nature and severity of the defect. Durga Construction Machinery takes full responsibility for transit damage or manufacturing defects and will ensure prompt resolution without any additional cost to the customer.

Order Cancellation Policy

Customers have the right to cancel their order before the equipment is dispatched from our facility. To cancel an order, contact our sales team immediately via phone or email with your order number and cancellation request. If the cancellation request is received before order processing and dispatch preparation begins, we will process a full refund after deducting applicable cancellation charges of 10% of the order value to cover administrative and processing costs. If the cancellation request is received after the order has been processed and is ready for dispatch or already dispatched, cancellation charges of 15-25% will apply depending on the stage of fulfillment. Once equipment is in transit or delivered, it cannot be cancelled and will be subject to our Return and Refund Policy instead. For customized or specially manufactured equipment, cancellation requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and significant cancellation charges may apply as we may have already procured specific materials or components based on your order. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email for proper documentation and processing.

Warranty vs. Return Policy

It is important to understand the difference between our Return Policy and Warranty Policy. The Return Policy applies to newly delivered products and covers issues like transit damage, manufacturing defects discovered immediately, or receiving incorrect products. Returns must be initiated within 48 hours of delivery. The Warranty Policy applies to products after the initial acceptance and covers manufacturing defects that develop during normal use over the warranty period, which typically ranges from 6 months to 1 year depending on the equipment type. If a product develops issues after the 48-hour return window but within the warranty period, customers should file a warranty claim rather than a return request. Warranty service may involve on-site repair, replacement of defective parts, or equipment replacement depending on the issue and warranty terms. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for inspecting equipment immediately upon delivery and reporting any visible damage or defects within the specified timeframe. Failure to report issues within 48 hours may result in the return request being denied. Customers must ensure that equipment is properly stored and handled during the return process to prevent any additional damage. Any damage caused during the return shipping or due to improper packaging by the customer may affect refund eligibility or result in deductions from the refund amount. Customers must provide accurate and complete information when requesting returns or refunds, including truthful descriptions of the issue and supporting evidence. Providing false or misleading information may result in rejection of the return request and potential blacklisting from future transactions.
